PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of photoelectric conversion at a photodetecting part, by forming a zigzag channel part and arranging a color stripe filter along upper or lower electrodes. CONSTITUTION:A CCD type color solid-state image pickup device is provided with plural insulated and intersected upper electrodes 16 and lower electrodes 15 and gaps surrounded by these electrodes 15, 16 constitute photodetecting parts as light incident windows. The channel part 13 is formed zigzag and the color stripe filter 2 is arranged along the upper or lower electrodes 16, 15. The light incident windows are covered with the color stripe filter 2. |
