PURPOSE:To increase general purposes by providing a bi-directional property to a photocoupler in a digital signal I/O device obtained by connecting each port of a digital signal processing system to each signal line of an external connection cable through a bi-directional buffer and a bi-directional photocoupler respectively. CONSTITUTION:Ports P0-P7 of a digital signal processing system are connected to an external connection cable l through the bi-directional buffer 1 and the photocoupler set 2. The bi-directional buffer 1 turns its direction by turning the input of a directory terminal DIR to ''0'' or ''1''. The photocoupler set also is attachable/detachable at the position of a connector and the input side connector and the output side connector of the photocoupler are symmetrized at a point to invert the connection of the connectors and turn the directions. |
