PURPOSE:To keep a proper level as the whole system in a light cascade connection bus transmission system provided with a by-pass means by detecting the by-pass of a node and regulating the level automatically in an adjacent level. CONSTITUTION:Respective stations 11-14 are concatenated on an optical loop through optoelectric converters O/E and electrooptical converters E/O. If a fault is generated in the station 12 and a by-pass switch 32 is closed, switches 6a2, 6b2 fitted to a level regulating loop B are exchanged and a resistor RC2 is inserted into the loop B. Consequently the level of a point 81 is reduced, a voltage comparator 51 detects the voltage drop and the level is regulated by increasing the electrooptical converter E/O of the station 11 at its level. |
