PURPOSE:To safely attach and detach a heavy spare tire, by providing a belt between a stand and a tire rest so that the belt can be wound freely. CONSTITUTION:A rod 22 securing a tire guide 8 is removed so that the guide is lowered to a chain-line position 8a. The handle 16 of a winch 16 is then operated to unwind a belt 10 from a winding drum 11 to roll a spare tire T down to a position A on the slope 5b of a tire rest 5. The tire rolls down further to a position B on the reverse side of the tire guide 8 as the belt 10 is unwound more. The tire T then moves to a position C on the ground 35 while the guide 8 prevents the tire from moving toward a frame 14. To lift the spare tire T, reverse operation is effected. |
