<p>PURPOSE:To make possible detection of the back component force of the cutting resistance of band saw blades in cutting operation from movement of the back up roller that adjusts and guides the backs of the band saw blades. CONSTITUTION:When the band saw blades 7 in cutting operation receives a fixed back component force or greater, an opeating lever 57 moves upward against the energizing force of a spring device 45. The distance between the upper end of a magnet 23 and the axis of a fixed shaft 19 makes several times as much as the distance between the position at which an operating lever 57 abuts with the lower end step 51 of a lower oscillating body 25 and the axis of the fixed shaft 19. Thus, the short leg position of a magnifying device having both long and short legs operates, tranfers magnified movement to the magnet 23 comprising the long leg parts, and the change of the back component force is magnified and detected.</p> |
