PURPOSE:To operate two cylinders alternately, reduce the back pressure and increase the output of the engine by a constitution wherein the exhaust gas of one cylinder is distributed into two sets of exhaust pipes and mufflers. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas of the first cylinder 1 is exhausted after being distributed to a first echaust gas port 3 and the second exhaust port 4. The exhaust gas, flowed into the first exhaust port 3, flows to the muffler 9 through the first exhaust pipe 7 while the same, flowed into the second exhaust port 4, is flowed into the muffler 10 through the second exhaust pipe 8. In the same manner, the exhaust gas of the second cylinder 2 is exhausted after being distributed into the first exhaust port 5 and the second exhaust port 6. Then, the exhaust gas, flowed into the first exchaust port 5, is flowed to the muffler 9 through the first exhaust pipe 7 while the exhaust gas, flowed into the second exhaust port 6, is flowed to the muffler 10 through the second exhaust pipe 8. |
