发明名称 FRICTIONAL DAMPER PROVIDED WITH SPEED-UP MECHANISM
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the damping effect of a large capacity with no increase in the mass of a flywheel, by increasing the rotational speed of a screw rod with the use of a differential gear speed-up mechanism and then transmitting the rotation of the screw rod to the flywheel. CONSTITUTION:A recirculating ball member 4 is rotated by a screw rod 3 when a relative displacement between a main casing 1 and a subcasting 2 comes about. The rotation of the recirculating ball member 4 is transmitted to a flywheel 7 through a differential speed-up mechanism comprising gears 5, 6, 7a. The rotation of the flywheel 7 is transmitted to a friction member 9 through balls 11 when an acceleration in the rotation of the recirculating ball member 4 is low, and therefore, the friction member 9 is driven to rotate with a predetermined gap being defined between a lid 1c and the friction member 9. Further, a relative displacement between the flywheel and the friction member 9 comes about due to the inertia force of the friction member 9 when an acceleration in the rotation of the recirculating ball member 4 is high, and therefore the balls 11 roll up on a slant surface so that the friction member 9 is frictionally engaged with the lid 1c, thereby the effect of damping may be obtained.
