PURPOSE:To prevent the unexpected turning of a fan body and to enable to direct the fan body freely in a desired direction, by supporting the fan body in a stable manner against turning of a supporting post since the neck piece is locked firmly by a locking mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A neck piece 7 is supported between a bifurcated portion 6 of a support post 5 in a vertically pivotable manner by means of a shaft 24 extended through the bifurcated portion 6 of the support post 5 from the outer surface of one arm of the bifurcated portion 6 to the outer surface of the other arm. At the bottom of the bufurcated portion 6, there is provided a lock pin 27 which is urged toward the neck piece 7 by means of a spring 26. The lock pin 27 is formed with a pair of projections 28 with are engaged with adjacent two recesses 25 in a straddling manner. Thus, since the lock pin 27 is fitted in adjacent two recesses 25, 25 but not in a single recess, a strong locking force can be obtained. Therefore, it is enabled to support a fan body 8 in a stable manner even when the support post 5 is turned. |
