PURPOSE:To enhance the rigidity by means of a compressive stress of the projection by forming the outer peripheral projection on an elastic member providing a fluid chamber inside thereof employed for an engine mount device, etc. and by supporting the projection with a base plate combined to a support and so on. CONSTITUTION:A flange-like projection 15 is formed intergrally on the outer periphery of the intermediate portion of an elastic member 4. Between both base plates 1, 2. A metal ring 16 is stuck to the outer edge of the projection 15 by vulcanization and is pushed onto the inside of the upper end of a standing portion 17a of a support plate 17 fixed to the base plate 2 so as to support the outer edge of the projection 15 by said support plate 17. Thus, the rigidity becomes larger by a compressive stress in the direction normally crossing the direction of compressing the elastic member 4, i.e. the direction in which the shearing force is applied to the elastic member 4. As a result, the vibration of an oscilator is prevented in the direction. |
