PURPOSE:To enable to correspond with a work according to its length, by a method wherein each of a headstock and a tailstock is provided with a loader and respective arms are driven synchronously, in a titled loader for a lengthy work to be used for a grinding machine. CONSTITUTION:Each of a tailstock 1 and a headstock is provided with an identical loader, which feeds and removes a lengthy work by acting synchronously. Both ends of a work whose processing is completed are clamped by closing grips 15 and 15' through a rack pinion by driving a cylinder by a processing completion signal. A tailstock spidle 3 of the tailstock 1 is retreated, brackets 6 and 6' are moved to a tailstock side by turning electric motors 7 and 7' and the work is pulled out from a chuck part of the head stock. Racks 13 and 13' are moved by driving the cylinder and the lengthy work is discharged to a discharge chute by turning arms 14 and 14'. |
