摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain favorable engine characteristics over a region extending from a low speed region to a high speed region by a method wherein the ignition timing is adjustd in proportion to the increase and decrease of the number of revolutions of an engine to thereby secure the optimum combustion. CONSTITUTION:An engine ignition timing control valve is formed of: a control circuit I ; a first saw tooth waveform generating circuit II generating a first saw tooth voltage; a second saw tooth waveform generating circuit III generating a second saw tooth voltage having a tilt angle and a peak value larger than those of the first saw tooth voltage between positive and negative timing pulses; a comparator IV comparing the first and the second saw tooth voltage with each other and generating an ON signal during the period from the time when the difference between the two voltages becomes a predetermined value, to the time of generation of the negative timing pulse; a trigger signal generating circuit Vadopted to supply a trigger signal to the gate of a thyristor 13 by receiving as an input the output of the comparator IV; a drive power source section VI of the control circuit 1; and an inhibition circuit VII adopted to inhibit the generation of the trigger signal for a predetermined period of time from the time of generation of the negative timing pulse from a pulser circuit 20.
