PURPOSE:To shut off a stream of steam surely when a car is inclined to a certain large degree by setting a spherical valve member, equipped with a through hole in its inside, rotatably in the valve body and by fixing two or more legs, having a sphere in the inside, to said valve member. CONSTITUTION:A spherical valve member 6 equipped with a through hole 7 in its inside is inserted rotatably in the valve body, and two or more legs 8 protruding downward are fixed to the bottom of this valve member 6, where a sphere 9 is held inside the legs. When a car is inclined abnormally in whichever direction, the sphere 9 moves on the funnel 2 apart from its center to a great extent, and allows the valve member 6 so swing its head by pushing the legs 8. Thereby the top of the through hole 7 is put out of communication with the outlet pipe to surely shut off the stream of steam. |
