<p>PURPOSE:To enable the steering of rear wheels, by connecting rear wheel steering tie rods to a member which extends in the front-to-rear direction of a vehicle and is swung by a steering wheel. CONSTITUTION:Front wheels 1 are steered by a steering wheel 11 through a gear box 13, rods 14 and tie rods 3. A rotary shaft 15 is provided in the gear box 13 to swing a member 17 through a lever 16 and a link 18. The member 17 is swung about a bracket 19. The member 17 extends in the front-to-rear direction of a vehicle. Tie rods 8 are attached to the rear of the swing member 17 to steer rear wheels 6. The front and the rear wheels 1, 6 are connected to each other through the swing member 17, which functions to steer the rear wheels.</p> |
