The drive unit for an industrial truck with a set value generator for speed which can be actuated as desired and has the purpose of setting the travel speed, said set value generator being connected to the adjustment element of an internal combustion engine and to an externally excited DC generator which is driven by said internal combustion engine, and to at least one externally excited DC motor which is fed by said DC generator, and to a speed control element to which two signals are fed, a voltage signal which originates from an armature voltage measuring element and is dependent on the armature voltage of the DC motor or of the DC generator being fed as a second signal in order to obtain a design which involves as little outlay as possible. <IMAGE> |
