A method and device for processing room air by means of ozone entails the room air being sucked through a reaction line by a suction device, passed through a water supply and then fed again into the room. Ozone is fed to the reaction line for the killing of harmful microorganisms, bacteria, odorous substances or the like. The suspended particles already present in the room air, or formed in the room air as a result of ozonisation, are withdrawn from the air by the water supply. <IMAGE>
