PURPOSE:To improve the function of the main body of a programmable device, by providing an arithmetic ROM at the programmer side and writing an arithmetic program to the arithmetic ROM concurrently when a user program is written to a user ROM. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic ROM38 storing an arithmetic program is provided at the side of a programmer 30. Then an arithmetic program is written to a user ROM14 together with a user program when the ROM14 is produced. When the ROM14 is loaded to a device main body 10, the arithmetic program stored in the ROM14 is used. The operations of the main body 10 and the programmer 30 are all carried out under the control of the CPU11. |
