The present invention relates to a rubber composition for an O-ring and a method for producing the same. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for producing an O-ring, which comprises: using a rubber blend including different types of rubber having a different acrylonitrile content, wherein each of at least two different types of rubber having a difference in acrylonitrile content of 5 wt% or more is mixed with additives to provide each master batch; carrying out dynamic crosslinking of each master batch and introducing the batch to a molding machine, or mixing and introducing the master batches and carrying out dynamic crosslinking at once to obtain a polymer composite having increased interfacial attraction force; and carrying out thermal pressure molding of the polymer composite to provide a rubber composition for an O-ring having excellent properties (oil resistance and rebound resilience (shape restorability)) of each rubber at the same time.
