PURPOSE:To make the electrically insulating characteristic of a slot insulator to be favorable, to make to have mechanical strength, and to make as not to generate a crack upon bending by a method wherein Nomex sheets are adhered on both the sides of a Kapton film of 0.02-0.05mm. thickness. CONSTITUTION:Untreated Nomex sheets 6 are adhered as the thin insulating material on both the side of an insulating film 5, Kapton film for example, of 0.02-0.05mm. thickness having 7-10kV class dielectric strength to obtain the slot insulator 7 integrated in one body. The slot insulator 7 is made to have nearly L-shape coinciding with the side wall of a slot. Accordingly, weakness of bending rigidity of the Kapton film 5 can be compensated by the comparatively flexible and firm Nomex sheets 6, and the Nomex sheet 6 having comparatively low dielectric strength can be compensated by the Kapton film 5. Besides, mechanical strength can be enlarged further by adhering a glass fiber sheet 15 on the surface of the Nomex sheet 6. |
