PURPOSE:To minimize the reflection or scattering of electric waves, by providing a front panel of a dielectric material at the front of a radar antenna with a specific value of width and thickness of the front panel. CONSTITUTION:The non-reflection conditions of a front panel 1 are obtained from the following equations with a distance (h) between the width (w) of a radar antenna 2 and the plate 1. That is, W=w+2h.tanphi and t=n.lambda/2(sgamma- sin<2>theta)1/2 in terms of the relation between the width W and thickness (t) of the panel 1. In this case, phi>=thetah is satisfied, where thetah is the beam width of (electric power half value width) of the radar antenna, h.tanphi=u, theta is an incident angle of electric wave to the panel 1, lambda is the free space wavelength of the using frequency, Sgamma is the specific dielectric constant, and (n) is an integer respectively.
