The invention relates to a support foot for walking aids, especially for crutches, which have a flexible floor-contact body. The floor-contact body has a supporting block as an elastomeric sole which is fixed to a support plate which is anchored to the support pipe of the crutch via an articulated device preferably having three degrees of freedom. This new design succeeds in imparting the necessary range of movement, predetermined by the anatomy of the elbow and wrist, to the crutch, while providing optimum contact between the sole and the floor throughout the motion sequence, force transmission from the body of the disabled individual to the ground always taking place over the entire sole support. As a result, the disabled individual can move absolutely safely even in the most difficult terrain, quick refitting of the walking aid being possible by means of appropriate technical engineering measures appropriate for disabled individuals.
