Isolating switch arrangement

An isolating switch arrangement for high voltage is formed from an isolating blade, as a moving contact element, and a fixed contact. The latter is a busbar, formed by a hollow conductor and having an axial slot in which the isolating blade engages. In order not to change the external contour of the isolating switch elements, contact is made inside the busbar. Sprung contact pieces are supported there with radial freedom of movement. Said contact pieces are pressed in a sprung manner on the one hand against the inner wall of the busbar and on the other hand against the isolating blade which has been forced in. The arrangement can be constructed in a compact manner and is particularly suitable for gas-insulated high-voltage switchgears.
