Arrangement for attaching upholstery belts to beams of furniture structures, the belt having a thickening, running transversely to the direction of tension, in the region of at least one of its ends, and being provided with a depression on one side facing away from the direction of tension of the belt, which depression corresponds approximately to the thickening in length, depth and/or shape. The thickening of the belt is placed in the depression, and the belt is wrapped around the beam under tensile stress until it covers the thickening. In this case, the thickening can be a bulging part shaped integrally with the belt or be formed from a part of the material which is connected to the belt by welding, bonding, stitching, clipping, rivetting, sewing, beading or in a similar manner. <IMAGE>
