PURPOSE:To enable the predetermined small quantity of pellets to be easily dropped in, by placing, one by one, a pellet made of luminous material with a small diameter on the tip of a pellet-supporting member and by making said pellet to be dropped by a throwing member into a hopper serving as a passage toward the luminous tube of a discharge lamp. CONSTITUTION:The constitution is set up in such a way that pellets 3 are received in a pellt-receiving bag 2, and when pellet-supporting member 4 is moved upward, its tip supports only one pellets 3' and pushes it upward. In this case, the rubber-made pellet-receiving bag 2 is elongated, and pellets except the pellet which is supported on said tip remain intact in the pellet-receiving bag 2. Further, the pellet-supporting member 4 is raised holding a dropping member 5 intact in the relative position and rushed into a through hole 11 of a hopper 10 while supporting only one pellet 3' intact on said tip. Next, the dropping member 5 which is supported on the pellet-supporting member 4 is moved upward, the pellet 3' is dropped into the hopper 10 and thrown into a luminous tube 7 via a duct pipe 9 and an exhaust pipe 8. Consequently, in the specified ambient condition the predetermined quantity of pellet made of luminous material can be sealed into the luminous tube. |
