CO2 REMOVAL FROM GAS WITH AMINE AQUEOUS SOLUTION WITH ADDITION OF STERIC HINDRANCE AMINE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent having a high absorptive power while leaving CO2 chemically coupled in an aqueous solution as little as possible under a typical regeneration condition, and a technical method which enables the utilization of such an absorbent to remove CO2 from a gas.SOLUTION: An absorbent contains an aqueous solution having at least two different amines to remove an acid gas from a fluid flow, an arbitrary amine of a ratio exceeding 50 weigh% of a total amount of amines in the aqueous solution being a first amine component in the aqueous solution, and a steric hindrance amine of a ratio less than 50 weight% being a second amine component in the aqueous solution. A fluid flow is brought in contact with the absorbent at a partial pressure of 200 mbar.SELECTED DRAWING: None
