PURPOSE:To ensure good FM synchronization between series, by multiplexing signals of all communication series on the basis of one of multi-frame pulses MFPs of >=2 communication series, detecting a fault of the MFP and continuing the operation with a proper MFP when the fault of MFP arises. CONSTITUTION:MFP generating parts 1A and 1B produce MFPs independently of each other, and the outputs of parts 1A and 1B are supplied to an MFP switching control part 4. A fault detecting part 41 detects the faults of both inputs. Then a contact 42A is connected to a terminal 42C when no fault is detected from both inputs and the part 1B and part 1A have faults respectively. Therefore the same and proper MFP is supplied to channel driving pulse CHP generating parts 2A and 2B. The channel driving pulses of the parts 2A and 2B are supplied to multiplexing parts 3A and 3B respectively. In addition, the parts 3A and 3B multiplex the input signals of plural channels based on the CHP and then deliver them. In other words, the parts 3A and 3B perform multiplexing in accordance with the MFP delivered from the part 1A or 1B. |
