PURPOSE:To drive an earth anchor under a condition that the run-off of sand is prevented by a method in which holes drilled in steel sheet piles for driving the earch anchor are closed as much as possible for those other than necessary places during the driving period of the anchors. CONSTITUTION:In driving earth anchors into sandy ground, a hole 3 for driving the earth anchor is drilled in a steel sheet pile 1 and a rubber plate 5 with a radially cut part 6 is attached to the hole 3. Then, an earth anchor is driven through the radially cut part 6 of the rubber plate 5, and then a steel plate 4 is attached to the place with th hole 3 for closing excepts for the steel wire part alone of the anchor. By this, since the hole 3 is closed with the rubber plate 5 except for the part other than the place where anchor driving operation is made through the radially cut part 6 of the rubber plate 5, the run-off of sand, etc., together with ground water, through the hole 3 can be prevented. |
