摘要 The invention relates to tissue adhesives or sealants, more specifically to fibrinogen based sealants reinforced with particulate material and chemically cross-linked. More particularly, the present invention is directed to tissue sealant, adhesive, hemostat, or scaffolding material containing thrombin, fibrinogen, a biocompatible particulate material having amine functionality, and a biocompatible polymer containing aldehyde groups. The present invention is also directed to methods for the use of such materials.
