PURPOSE:To allow an optional virtual computer to constitute a multiprocessor system, by allowing another computer systems to constitute a virtual computer system and the multiprocessor system. CONSTITUTION:Dedicated processor areas 6-1 and 6-2 are set up corresponding to other computer systems 8-1 and 8-2. A program corresponding to the system 8-1 is stored in, for example, the dedicated processor area 6-1. When the system 8-1 constitutes the multiprocessor system with, for example, a virtual machine VM2-2, the starting address AD2 of a virtual computer region 7-2 is set in a base register 10-1, and the computer 8-1 is raised status based upon the contents of the register 10-1 to store an instruction group for access to the virtual computer region 7-2. Consequently, the region 702 is accessed from the computer 8-1 by utilizing the contents of the dedicated processor area 6-1. |
