PURPOSE:To simplify structure and to improve radiation detection precision, by inserting holding plate for numbers of unit detectors into numbers of recessed streak grooves in a supporting body. CONSTITUTION:The unit detector is constituted by fixing a detecting element 6 for converting radiation into an electric signal and a substrate 1 having a signal line 2 for leading out the electric signal to a holding plate 3. The supporting member consists of a couple of supporting bodies 9A and 9B facing each other at a specific interval and having plural recessed streak grooves 9C in the opposite surfaces in the traveling direction of an X-ray beam. Edges of the plate 3 are inserted into the groove 9C to array plural unit detectors. Thus, the lengthwise direction of each element 6 is set in the propagation direction of the X- ray beams to improve the detection precision. Further, adhesive applied in the groove 9C to fix the plate 3 and the supporting bodies 9A and 9B together, and consequently the play of the unit detector due to mechanical oscillation to further improve the detection precision. |
