摘要 PURPOSE:To reduce the fuel consumption, by using wheels in addition to a thruster as an actuator and suppressing useless driving due to the limit cycle of a thruster control system. CONSTITUTION:This control system is used at the same time with the conventional thruster control system, and a control torque command signal 24 of the wheels is generated based on an output signal 10 of an angular velocity sensor 4. The control torque is decided so as to zero the angular velocity of the artificial satellite. A wheel driving circuit 25 inputs a control torque command signal 24, generates a wheel driving signal 26 and drives the wheels 7. Since this control system has no dead band, which exists in the thruster control system and the control torque is decreased continuously, the rate damping effect is generated even at the inside of the dead band of the thruster control system. Then it is easy to avoid problems of interference with the flexibility such as solar battery paddle.
