PURPOSE:To reform converter furnace slag for obtaining a material useful for civil engineering, by crushing the slag to predetermined size, and adding a predetermined amount of sulfuric acid to it. CONSTITUTION:Converter furnace slag crushed to size <=5mm. is mixed with 10- 30wt% sulfuric acid, to properly reform the expansion disintegration and specific gravity of the slag. Hence the slag is reformed into a material useful for roads, reforming the ground and soil, etc., and effectively utilized as a material for civil enginnering. |
