PURPOSE:To obtain a hollow body having wood grains with clearly difined boundary lines by a method wherein a parison with a striped pattern is formed by alternately feeding two kinds of raw materials with different shade of color to a crosshead type extruding machine and then blow-molded in molds with irregular three-dimensionally structural cavities. CONSTITUTION:The two kinds of raw materials A and B with different shade of brownish color are alternately fed to the crosshead type extruding machine 1 in order to obtain the parison 20 with a striped pattern developed by extruding the molten raw material stayed in a head while mixing the different kind of molten raw material. After that, the parison 20 is inserted in the molds 21 and 21, which have irregular three-dimensionally structural cavities, and blow-molded. As a result, a molded piece 23 with wood grain appearance, which consists in alternately putting glossy dark brown layers 24 and dull light brown layers 25 side by side in indefinite form, can be obtained. |
