PURPOSE:To accurately carry out the operation of an area in chromatogram wherein a base line is drifted without increasing memory capacity, by permitting a memory to preliminarily store an approximate base line. CONSTITUTION:When an order for asking the area of a part surrounded by S- Q-R-W-S of chromatogram is issued by a program preliminarily assembled in a memory 7, data stored by a memory 6 from an analytic apparatus 2 through an A-D converter 3 and a matrix line 4 is again sent to an operation unit 5 and the area of the above-mentioned part is calculated. In this case, the base line of a data processor 1 consists of a straight line connecting a start point S of chromatogram and an intermediate point Q where the base line starts deflection from OP being a zero line and a straight line of said point Q and an end point R. By this constitution, a base line close to the practical base line S-Q-T-R can be established and the area can be operated almost accurately. |
