PURPOSE:To enable the amount of air bleed to be increased upon low temperature running in a highland area, by providing auxiliary pathes disposed therein with temperature sensing and operating valves, in air bleed passages in an altitude compensation device for a carburettor. CONSTITUTION:Three-forked branch joints 20, 21 in air bleed passages 16, 17 have auxiliary passages 22, 23 branched therefrom and connected to valve chamvers 73, 74 in an altitude compensation device. Further, temperature sensing and operating valves 26, 27 of bimetal sensor actuated type are disposed in the auxiliary passages 22, 23. Since the temperature sensing and operating valves 26, 27 open the auxiliary passages 22, 23 upon cold running under a temperature below a predetermined temperature, fuel is increased in an amount corresponding to that of bleed air supplied from an auxiliary device body 3' through bleed ports 53, 54, thereby an excessive rich fuel condition is prevented. |
