PURPOSE:To form easily a large-sized screen for back projection which has superior strength by abutting and adhering plural relatively small-sized lenticular screens to each other at their ends successively and further adhering a stiffening plate to the back. CONSTITUTION:Screens 1 for back projection made of synthetic resin (e.g., methacrylic resin, vinyl chloride resin, etc.) whose one surface is made lenticular are butted each other in such a way that lengthwise sides of lenticular lenses 11 are positioned adjacent by to each other, and then joined together with an adhesive 2; and the stiffening plate 3 is joined with an adhesive 2' to the opposite side of the lenses 11 to form the large-sized screen into one body (while the screen 1 and stiffening plate 3 are preferred to use the same kind of resin and the adhesive is perferaably made of the same system of resin with said resin). Further, the stiffening plate 3 is worked into a Fresnel lens 4 to obtain a high performance screen. |
