PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of data transmission efficiency due to the existence of margine areas by providing the titled system with a discriminating part to discriminate the end part of an original arranged at a fixed reading area. CONSTITUTION:The original 1 set up on an original board 10 is read out by a line sensor 11 and data from the line sensor 11 are set up in a register 12. The data are stored in a line memory 18 under control by a line memory controlling part 16. A reading/extraction converting part 17 sends the left margine area of the line memory 18 as a self-picture element to encoding part 19, sends the picture element of the original part from the line memory 18 and then transmits the right margine area as a white picture element to the encoding part 19. The transmitted codes data-compressed by the encoding part 19 are outputted to a transmission line through a line interface 20. |
