摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve the resolving power of an observed image by using plural image guide fibers and a synthetic optical system which sneds oberved light images from the respective image guide fibers synthetically to an optical ocular system. CONSTITUTION:A half-prism 2 is arranged facing to the objective 1 of an endoscope in order to split light sent from the objective 1 into straight light traveling along the optical axis (a) of the objective 1 and flectional light perpendicular to the optical axis (a). This half-prism constitutes an optical splitting system 4 together with a prism 3 which reflects the flectional light totally to direct the light in parallel to the straight light. Part of the light from the objective 1 travels straight while passing through the half-prism 2 to form the 1st observed light image on the incidence end surface 5a of the 1st image guide fiber 5, and the remainder is inflected by the half-prism 2 and totally reflected by the prism 3 to form the 2nd observed light image on the incidence end surface 6a of the 2nd image guide fiber 6. |
