PURPOSE:To enable to display a level which is highly accurate and continuously smoothly moves by forming a row of light emitting segment array in a light emitting diodes aligned in a zigzag state, thereby reducing the width of display the level per a diode pellet. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting diode pellets 32 are mounted via conductive paste on a substrate 31 which has a wiring pattern 33 and is made of glass epoxy or paper phenol or the like, and bonded with gold wirings. Resin is coated, and a reflecting plate is further mounted. The plate has, as shown in the drawings, holes which are matched in size to the size of the pellets at the positions of the pellets, and a structure having slopes in the holes to efficiently producing the light upwardly. In order to uniformly emit the light on the entire surface of the holes, a scattering agent tape is bonded to the plate to botain a light emitting diode chip-on board display unit. |
