PURPOSE:To provide the titled medium capable of immediately reading only necessary data, constituted by a mechanism wherein a mark indicating the unit region to be read of a reading part is applied onto a medium and a data recording region to be read is decided on the basis on a mark distinguishing result due to a distinguishing means. CONSTITUTION:A distinguishing mark 8 is applied onto the inner blank from of a banknote 1 and the track position of a magnetic strip 3 to be read by a reading head 4 is determined according to said mark 8. A mark reading part 7 decides what kind of an account column is the opened inner blank form by reading the distinguishing mark 8. On the basis of the point of time when the lower end of the banknote 1 is detected by a sensor 5, a predetermined amount of the banknote 1 is drawn in to be stopped. The data on the magnetic stripe 3 is definitely determined in the writing-in place thereof every data of each account. |
