PURPOSE:To prevent the surface of a recording picture from being stained or blurred, by setting up a developing bias in accordance with the density distribution of a picture signal. CONSTITUTION:A recorder consists of a density distribution measuring part 1, a developing bias driving part 2, a picture signal input terminal 3, an A/D converter 4, a power supply 19 to the developing bias driving part 2, and a developing electrode 20. An analog picture signal of a picture element period applied from an input terminal 3 is converted into a digital signal by the A/D converter 4. The density distribution measuring circuit part 1 measures the density distribution of one line and the developing bias driving part 2 applies a developing bias corresponding to the measured result to the developing electrode 20. |
