PURPOSE:To obtain an image fiber composite transmission line which facilitates the reduction and enlargement of a composite picture by providing one control lens behind the transmission-side element lens of the image fiber composite transmission line. CONSTITUTION:A bundle of image fibers 1 in use is provided successively from an image pickup side A to an image reception side B. At both ends of each image fiber 1, an image pickup side element lens 2 and a transmission side element lens 3 are arranged and when an object 4 to be photographed 4 is placed at the image pickup side A, luminous flux from the lens 3 converges to one point P (a, b) in an original picture 5'. For this purpose, when one control lens[focal length (f)]6 is placed behind the lenses 3, diffracted pieces of luminous flux are shown by equations 1 and 2 and converge to a new picture point S5 on a straight line OP. Further, the ratio of the distance from an origin is shown by an equation 3 and not influenced by the Y coordinate (b) of the point P. Therefore, a successive reduced or enlarged new picture 5 is obtained as a set of ponts S5. |
