A roof drain comprises a tap section 5 which extends through a passage 11 in a roof structure. A locking fixture for locking the tap section comprises a fixture plate 6 which is fixed to the roof structure and a locking plate which is fixed to the underside of the fixture plate 6. The plate 6 has an opening with a diameter which is slightly larger than the external diameter of the tap section 5. The locking plate 7 has an opening whose diameter is preferably 1 to 3 mm smaller than the external diameter of the tap section 5. The locking plate 7 also has radially outwardly directed slits 7 which issue from the edge of its opening 14 to form resilient tongues between the slits. When the tap section 5 is lowered through the fixture, the tongues 10 are bent downwards and press resiliently against the outer surface of the tap section 5, the tongues forming an angle to the tap section such that the latter cannot be pulled back unless the tongues are buckled or the tap section is turned at the same time. <IMAGE> |
