PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of picture quality, by reading a picture signal from a photoelectric converting element with each picture signal reading start pulse and performing a subscanning synchronously with a subscanning timing pulse by a coding transmitter to fetch the picture signal out of the picture signal reading start pulse obtained immediately after the subscanning. CONSTITUTION:This device provides an oscillator 1 which produces a picture signal reading start pulse 101 is provided along with a timer counter circuit 2 which is triggered by the pulse 101 and produces a subscanning timing pulse 102, a CCD driving circuit 3 which controls to read a picture signal 103a outputted from a CCD sensor with each production of the pulse 101, and a picture processing circuit 4 which processes the signal 103a. In addition, said device delivers a coding processing signal 105 to code the picture signal given from a line memory 6, produces a field pulse 106 synchronously with the signal 102 every time the coding process equivalent to one scanning line is over, and then produces a picture writing signal 104 synchronously with the signal 101. In such a way, it is possible to code a picture free from a distortion with a picture memory equivalent to two lines. |
