PURPOSE:To perform an efficient handling of a number of articles, by constituting a device such that a plurality of magazines are aligned in a plane manner, containers stowed in a laminating manner are used, and the containers are moved, in turn, to a position, where the magazines are carried out, by a moving means. CONSTITUTION:In operation, an article is first held in a magazine 2, and the magazines 2 are respectively placed in two parallel rows in housing shelves 4A- 4H of a container 4. The container 4 is placed on placing frames 10A and 10B in a moving means 14, the magazines 2 in the uppermost shelf 4A are carried in turn and in a rectangular shape through the working of shift cylinders 16A- 16C, and the magazine 2A is first carried out to a table 17. After the magazines 2A-2J at the uppermost stage are all carried out, chains 12A and 12B are turned through gear train 14D, a Geneva gear 14C and the like by a motor 14E so as to raise the container 4 by one full stage, and subsequently, the magazines 2 on the housing shelf 4B are carried out to the table 17 in a similar manner. |
