摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the resistance to radioactivity and electric noises, by detecting and converting the process quantity of the reactor equipment into electric signals and converting the amplified voltage into frequencies and then optical signals to transmit these signals through an optical fiber bundle. CONSTITUTION:An electric signal proportional to the process quantity detected by a detector 102 is amplified 102 through a reactor housing 2, and this voltage is converted into signals of high and low frequencies through a frequency modulator 104 and then into an optical signal through an electricity/light converter 106. This optical signal is converted into a frequency modulated wave by a photoelectric converter 110 in a control building 1 through an optical fiber cable 109. This frequency signal is demodulated by a modulator 112 to a signal equivalent to the original detector output. This demodulated signal is controlled to a voltage or current level suited to a display 116 by a display signal producer 114 and then displayed to the display 116. No superposition occurs in electric noises since the signal is transmitted with an optical cable, and furthermore no deterioration of S/N is caused despite the deterioration in transparency of the optical fiber since the level of frequency is detected.
