PURPOSE:To enhance reproducibility, by using a specified fluorescent lamp for a sensitized selenium photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:A glass-like simple selenium layer is formed on a conductive substrate as a photoreceptor, and on this layer, a thin alloy layer of Se-Te contg. 8-10wt% Te is laminated in <=10mum thickness to form a photoreceptor. As a light source, a fluorescent lamp is used having a single peak in 480-520nm wavelength region in a light intensity distribution of spectral illumination. |
