PURPOSE:To provide a simple and inexpensive device, by sandwiching a test piece and an insertion member having the length approximate to the length of the test piece in the symmetrical position thereof between a pair of flange members inserted onto a metallic bar having tightening means. CONSTITUTION:A test piece 1 of concrete is sandwiched with a pair of frame members 2a, 2b, and projecting parts 3a, 3b which are planted on the inside surface of the materials 2a, 2b in the symmetrical position with the test piece 1 and of which forward ends engage with each other via a pin 4 are provided. Pipe members 5a, 5b which form the respective outside surfaces of the materials 2a, 2b and situate at the central position thereof. Supporting plates 6a, 6b that hold the respective materials 5a, 5b, a load cell 7 for detecting load, and lock nuts 10a, 10b which tighten the materials 2a, 2b through the materials 5a, 5b, the plates 6a, 6b and the cell 7 by engaging with a steel bar 8 which penetrates through the materials 2a, 2b, the materials 5a, 5b, the plates 6a, 6b and the cell 7 are provided. The strain of the test piece 1 is detected through lead wires 12 with a bar-like strain gages 11 embedded beforehand therein. |
