PURPOSE:To enable to perform high speed printing in a dot print head on which an armature hinge is rockably placed on a base by forming the contacting surface of the base hinge with the armature hinge in raised surface. CONSTITUTION:The contacting surface 7a of the armature hinge with a base hinge 4 is formed in a raised shape. Thus, the contacting point is moved upon rocking of the armature 5, and when the armature 5 is released from the attracted state, the rocking fulcrum P1 is disposed at the position in the vicinity of the centroid of the armature. Accordingly, large releasing speed can be obtained with less releasing force, thereby enabling high speed printing. On the other hand, when attracted from the released state, the contacting point P2 is moved backwardly. Accordingly, the magnetic path of both hinges 4, 7 is preferably formed, thereby efficiently performing the attraction. Further, since the contacting surface is formed in a raised shape, the wears of the hinges 4, 7 is reduced, thereby improving the durability. |
