发明名称 WORKPIECE HOLDING AND RELEASING DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To simplify a workpiece holding and releasing mechanism by operating a workpiece gripper by means of a driving source for a gripper supporting body. CONSTITUTION:A gripper supporting body 17 is subjected to a reciplocating linear motion against a body by making use of a cross-slider mechanism stopping at one end of said motion, and stopped at one end of said motion. During this stoppage of the gripper supporting body, a workpiece gripper 21 mounted on the tip part of the gripper supporting body 17 is switched by the movement of a gripper changing-over and holding mechanism 30 moved by the rotary member of the cross-slider mechanism. It is made possible in this way to accurately hold and release a workpiece without fail at a prescribed position of a machine tool or arbitrary conveying device.
