PURPOSE:To aim at the promotion of speediness and efficiency for setting a tool holder, by providing the junction face of the tool holder with an engaging hole linking a set bolt and a boss part projected out of a body, while making up this setting device so as to cause the set bolt to be pulled nearer and released from the body side by cam operation. CONSTITUTION:When a cutting tool is attached to a setting groove 19 of a tool holder 2 and thereby a cam shaft 10 rotates, a holding shaft 8 is pushed by pressure and a set bolt 4 is drawn nearer. Accordingly, the tool holder 2 in a state of being engaged with this set bolt is pulled nearer to the side of a body 1 so that respective junction faces adhere closely to each other and are locked up. At this time, the tool holder operates well in an accurate manner by the interposition of an O-ring 22. Pressing force to the holding shaft 8 is released by rotation in a releasing direction of the cam shaft 10 whereby the set bolt 4 is returned by dint of a spring 13 and the tool holder 2 is detached. With this constitution, setting the tool holder can be performed speedily and efficiently. |
